The District 214 Education Foundation supports student success, innovation and lifelong learning beyond the means of conventional funding for public education.

Together, we create new opportunities for students to ensure they are college, career and life ready.

Through the support of donors who give their time and money, the Foundation annually funds Advanced Placement tests for students who can't afford them, translating to hundreds of thousands of dollars in early college credit; takes more than 150 first-generation students and parents to college campuses; empowers early college credit by funding student success in the Early College Center and the transcription of coursework for low-income students; works with individuals and corporations to support curriculum enhancement; and provides monetary support to low-income students enrolling in summer enrichment programs. The Foundation also maintains more than $350,000 in scholarships and success funds that empower our students to discover their future.

And that’s just the beginning.

Though the generosity of our supporters, including community and business partners, we change the trajectory of lives. We know strong communities build strong schools.

Gifts can be made through sponsorships of curriculum, events or programs; named programs or facilities; direct financial contributions; memorial or honorary gifts; bequests and more.

Gifts of time are also gratefully appreciated, with opportunities to serve as a mentor to our students, speak in classrooms, host an intern and influence dreams.

We work with you to ensure your gift aligns with your values and meaningfully connects you to our schools and students. Your gift matters as we fund the future.
